I never thought I would see those three things in a sentence together without all molecular motion ceasing.
Microsoft has decided to make the upcoming Internet Explorer 8 support Web Standards according to http://blog.wired.com/monkeybites/2008/03/microsoft-backs.html. Before we know it, the cows will come home and pigs will be flying around like airplanes!
This doesn't seem like much, but means a lot to web designers such as myself and my partner. Bringing Internet Explorer up to speed will mean less tedious work for us.
Currently web designing involves a process of converting perfectly compliant code into code which is both compliant and works in Internet Explorer. We're glad to see that this process will no longer be necessary.
